If you want to clone your current hard drive in your 2006-2012 Macbook Pro and replace it with a new SSD drive, then this is the kit you need.
Cloning is one method to put a new SSD in a Macbook, we outline them all in our Macbook Pro SSD upgrade guide

There are three items you'll use in this mini tool kit. They are: The Phillip #00 for removing the screws on the bottom of the Macbook. The Spludger to run along the lid if it is clipped in place. And the Torx T8 for removing the small metal cylinders on the original drive. These need to be attached to the new SSD.

What is in the mini tool kit?
Phillips #00 (green)
Torx T6 (red)
Torx T8 (black)
Straight Blade 1.8mm (blue)
Nylon Pry Tool aka Spudger

USB to SATA cable and cloning
To clone your drive to an SSD, the process is very straight forward. Plug SATA connection to new SSD and the other end goes into the USB of your Macbook Pro. Initialise the SSD. Open clone software (we recommend SuperDuper!) and clone from old drive to new SSD. After clone has finished replace the hard drive with the newly cloned SSD.
